Around the House Lately

Our giant pet walking stick!! He stuck around for several days!

Haircutting is a learned art, but I'm getting the hang of it!

Master Chef Junior - Appetizer Edition

Levi made homemade soft pretzels with cheese dip!

They turned out so good!

Katelyn made Ham and Cheese Sliders

They too turned out delish!

And Kyler made Mini Corndogs!

Also, so good!

The kitchen was a tad crazy with three cooks in there at once! But they all loved picking out their own recipes, reading, and cooking it all by themselves! I was only there to observe! They did great! We are planning to do an entree and dessert version this summer as well!

And only the best cooks, clean up after themselves! :)

Kyler wanted a picture to frame for his bedroom, so we took a quick pic! I had to tickle him to get his real smile.....I love it!

We've been able to go to the library this month and it has been such a lifesaver. We love having new material to read! Both times, we've been the only ones there at that time!

Book time with big sissy!

Shucking corn with Pappy for dinner one night! We love eating outside, even when it's a bit hot. This is the first house we've had where our table is under the covered patio, it's the best!

Climbing trees with cousin friends!

And "washing" Mommy's car!

We've been going to Camp Gladitor this month too, and it's been a great way to get out of the house, see some friends, and exercise! We've all enjoyed it!

I mentioned before Lex was building me shelves for the laundry room, here they are! I love them so much! It feels so much bigger in there to have everything up off the floor.

We went to the Tackitt's house one night for a crawfish boil, I was surprised the kids actually enjoyed it too!

And as I've mentioned before, Playmobil is still going strong over here. Lots of cardboard box houses being made and constant scenes being set up between all three kiddos. I love that they have something they love playing together. Hoping it lasts a long time!

My Blue Plumagos and Liriope are doing quite well! I just hope I don't kill them. The rosemary that was doing so well, is now dead. I just wish I could have a green thumb. One of these days we'll have a lush yard, it's taking some time to get a grip on what does well here, that's for sure!

Lunch time shenanigans!

Daddy is always the fun one!

He "fell" into the pool when he got home from work this day :)

We "went" to Erin and Robert's wedding earlier this month.....well, we watched it on TV at least! With social distancing still in place, we had to watch the live zoom version, but hopefully we'll be able to attend their new reception date later in August! Congrats Erin and Robert!

We also watching Katelyn & Levi's piano recital virtually as well. They had to take a video of themselves playing their songs and their teacher, Ms. Courtney, compiled all the kids videos into one for all to see. They did great!

I'm not sure exactly what this is, but I'm pretty sure they used their books to create houses or something for their playmobile people! Love their imaginations!

Cannonball contest in a tiny pool!! LOL

Our favorite doggie, Rosie Potato Chip! We get the best of boths worlds with her. She comes over to play and we don't have to feed her or take care of her!
