In January, Katelyn and Levi, decided they were ready to hunt their first deer. They practiced all day, first with the BB gun, then with the big guns out at the ranch. Lex took them out that afternoon and they both ended up coming back with a doe. We'll have meet now for months! Great job to our little hunters!
They even got a great anatomy lesson while helping to clean the deer. Kyler was mesmerized by this part!
This is the text thread Katelyn sent me while they were in the blind. This is the best part of her having a phone.....so fun!
The next day was a family affair.....cleaning and processing the deer meet.
Thanks Pappy for letting these kiddos shoot their first deer. I'm sure there will many more in the future!
