Katelyn finished up JH Cheer last week and it's all a little bittersweet. Cheer is not something she had any interest in until 6th grade pep squad. She has always loved tumbling though, so she put in the work and learned some cheer techniques, enough to earn a spot on the team. Since then, she has really improved and has excellent sharp, crisp moves. We'll see if she continues cheering in HS, unfortunately her three favorite activities are all in the Fall. Time will tell if she can do it all again this year or not. Either way, cheer has been a great way to make some sweet friends and learn how to get up in front of a crowd and have fun!
They won Grand Champion for school floats in this years Peanut Festival Parade.

I am so happy that you got to be a cheerleader.
You look so cute in your cheer outfit. I am glad that Pops and I got to see you cheer. I think you were the best. Of course!!! If you cheer next year, I wish you to have lots of fun.
