December Fun

We had some random fun throughout December too, so I just combined it all into one post.

Levi was a Drummer Boy is this years Christmas program. Their class did the 12 days of Christmas and it was hilarious! I took a video and plan to save it for years to come!

Kyler crafted this cute tree for Mimi as her Christmas present. It took a lot of patience and he never complained once or stopped until it was done!

We decorated a gingerbread house together!

They helped in the kitchen a lot!

And we went to SA one evening in search of the best Christmas decorations. We found some pretty amazing houses. Deerfield & Windcrest were the best! But our absolute favorite was in Floresville. This house coordinated his lights to music and gave us a 30 minute show. It was amazing!

Lots of outdoor time. The weather was beautiful the last week in December. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful week! The week before that was freezing cold, so it was a nice break and almost felt like spring time!

A bicycle built for two....kind of :)

And a book store on wheels! :)

Ice Cream night!

Game time!

Elfie Tada did a lot of silly things leading up to Christmas. I didn't take pictures everyday, but here are a few of them:

Playing with the copy machine

Painting us a picture

He also toilet papered the house, tried to sell us "lemonade", hid 12 candy canes around the house, and on the last day he covered our back windows in snow!! It was below freezing that day (and had been all week) so he made it feel like we got a white Christmas! We'll miss you Elfie Tada! Until next year!

Kyler's grade went to the Magik Theater for their field trip and saw the Velveteen Rabbit. Parents weren't allowed on this trip, but he seemed to really enjoy it!

We hit up "Jingle Jam" at church this year for the first time. They had food trucks, hot cocoa, and a cute show teaching us about The Big Gift at Christmas. The boys had fun (Katelyn went with friends to the playoff football game and missed out).

Kyler and Warren @ Elise's 8th birthday party. They painted these cute foxes!

We've really enjoyed sitting by the fire lately. So much that Lex ended up making us 6 adirondack chairs to help make us a more permanent fire pit. We can't wait to get it all set up!

Jingle & Mingle down 181 - we had a blast shopping at all the local boutiques together one Saturday morning. Can't wait to to go again next year!

This cat showed up on our back porch the other night. It was pretty sweet, so we fed it some milk and had a photo shoot :)
