April/May Family Fun

These are a bit out of order, but Spring time is my favorite time! So much fun to be had, beautiful weather, lots of outdoor time, and family time!

Mother's Day...

Love these sweet kiddos that make me a Mom! We had to postpone our celebration with Mimi due to me having a sore throat, but better safe than sorry! We love you Mimi and are so thankful you are ours!

This one is always keeping me entertained over hear too :) He was playing spies and had his tux on with all his spy gear hidden inside. Love it!

We went fishing at the ranch and at Kim & Dean's tank a few times this spring too, the boys are really getting into it!

And nothing like a little family night working the Little League concession stand!!

Kyler made a putt putt course in our side yard, super good thinking! Love it!

Kyler's GT Class learning about electricity....

Lex found us a ping pong table at an auction and we are loving it! Although, we learned it is not suitable for direct sunlight. The first night we had it, it started warping in the sunshine. But, it does great in the shade :)

The kids are also really loving the Wii accessories that Cindy passed down to us....Rock Band and Wii Sports are their favs!

A house across the street from us was hit by lightening during a big storm and burned down. Lex was one of the first ones on the scene and helped make sure the lady that lived there was safe. So scary! We could see the flames from our front porch.

Nothing better than swimming in your own backyard, we are loving the pool time!

We all ran the 5K in the Ride to Remember at Poth City Park this year. I'm so proud of how everyone did and especially proud that Kyler finished strong too!

Kyler and I sewed this car screen holder for his Nintendo Switch and then googled to see if anyone else had invented one yet and unfortunately someone had. We thought we really had something great - we were going to be rich :)

Before school got out for summer, our Mom coffee group took our own field trip to San Antonio! We had lunch, bowled and stopped for coffee! Everyone needs a Leslie in their life to make you do the "jumping photos" by the way!! Love it!

Our family pic from Easter, I missed posting on the Easter post, so here ya go!

And this one is still reading every chance he gets! He even inspired me to read more, I've already finished a whole novel this summer and can't wait to go to the library to get another!
