So it took me a little longer to get this posted, but hey it's here now! Last weekend I got a chance to head back to Dallas to visit my family! The main reason for the trip was to surprise my grandmother for her 80th Birthday! All the grandkids decided to plan it ourselves and I will say it turned out pretty great! I think my Dad counted around 60-70 people that showed! Here are a few pictures...
Here's all of my cousins on the Kilgore side. We planned the whole party!
Here is Granny opening her gift. Each of the cousins took on different tasks for the party and mine was to create a scrapbook for her. I did it digitally through picaboo.com and it turned out pretty nice!
Here's a pic of all the great-grand kids with Granny!
Here's the whole gang! She even had several friends come that have known her since elementary school! I hope when I am 80 I have this many people that come to celebrate with me!
More family!
The rest of the weekend, I got to hang out with my parents and my sister! It was so great to be home and just relax like old times. I also got a chance to see a few friends. Here are some pics:Friday night I went to dinner with a few friends...Emily, Janet and Susan!
