The Office

Well, not quite as entertaining as the TV show....but here's our story...

I put a new coat of paint on our office and that inspired us to clean the carpets....

Then we cleaned the carpets throughout the entire house! It's amazing how much of Ginobili's dirt came up! We love the Rug Doctor! And boy what exciting lives we have :)

The office is almost finished. We bought this desk from a neighbor of ours that was moving, it's huge and we got a great deal!

So for the past few weeks I have been giving Ginobili a little more freedom during the day while I am at work. I had never left him in the house for longer than 4 hours without being in his crate. Well, today I came home from lunch after he had been in the office on his doggie bed all day. He seemed fine and happy to see me. So when I went back to work I put him back on his bed in the office and left the door cracked, so he didn't feel so trapped. I thought I'd come home and he'd be waiting for me by the door after he escaped from the confinement of the office. Instead I found him with the office door still barley cracked....

He had torn up his entire bed and scattered it throughout our newly decorated office!

He is a sad puppy right now, because he is in major trouble!!!! No more pretty doggie beds for you! And back to the crate while I'm at work!

So sorry pup!

That is quite the mess! I love that you got a picture of him in the middle of it though. Hilarious!

I know you said no more nice doggy beds, but just in case you change your mind Orvis has a tough chew bed with double...well, you can read it for yourself:

My family has always used their beds for our dogs and they are wonderfully durable and my dogs have always loved them. And it's a money back guarantee if your dog destroys the tough chew bed. : ) Just an idea. Grace wanted Ginobli to have another chance. ; ) Looks like everything is going great for you all. Have a wonderful summer!

Ginobli looks so guilty. HA HA
What a cute picture.
Other than him chewing his bed up the office looks really good. I like your desk ...what a great find.

Oh my goodness! Ruby would do the exact same thing I'm sure. The office sure did look nice all set up. I think this is the rare case where the before picture is nicer than the after. He sure is a cute little thing even when he's in trouble. Just when you give them an inch...

Poor Ginobli, I bet he was only trying to change his sheets..... I guess he got that done too, didn't he?

Ha Ha ha ha. Consider yourself lucky. I came homw once and my boxer had uprooted a 5 gallon potted plant and spread it all over my old apartment. I left with grey carpet and came home with black carpet. Needless to say I was pretty pissed off.

That cracked me up!! Love how you made sure to document it all for us on film. He's so cute, even when he's being bad!

Wow! There's destroyed and then there's Ginobli destroyed!! He looks so pitiful in that picture too!! I must say though, I've been witness to a familiar site. Ranger has taken care of a few pillows for us and a pair or two of Jake's shoes because we decided to be nice mommy and daddy and let him stay out. Needless to say, he really loves his crate now! :0)
