Strawberry Picking and Cooking Out!

This weekend was beautiful! We went up to a Strawberry Farm just north of Greenville on Saturday morning! Neither of us had been before, so it was a lot of fun. The picking didn't actually take much effort or much time, but it was nice to take a drive and get some fresh berries! YUMMY! We made strawberry shortcake today and I'm not sure what else we'll use them for, I may end up having to freeze some!

On Saturday night, we went to Clayton and Julie's house for a cookout! Clayton turned the big 3-0! I never thought I would have friends in their 30's - makes me feel old too! :o)

Those strawberries look luscious! Better than those in Poteet, I think! I know you enjoyed picking AND eating! And tell Clayton Happy Birthday from us! Love, Mom Poth
