Paint and Parties

We have been working hard to get our bonus room cleaned out and turned into a playroom. We still have a few things to do before it's ready, but I will post pics when it's done! I made a few canvas' for decor and thought I would let Katelyn help a little with some finger paint fun on one of them! My plan was to put hand and foot prints all over one of the canvas', but I had to settle for one of each, otherwise it would have turned into one big blob :o) I think she had fun playing in it though, except for the fact that I wouldn't let her eat it!

I just had to include this one because it was so cute.


On Saturday we went to our friend, Janie's, 1st Birthday Party and Katelyn really had a great time. Only a few more months until Katelyn will be celebrating too...crazy!

I am very proud of my very first eBay win! I have never bought anything on eBay before (Lex has, but I never have), guess I've just been afraid of what I'll end up getting. Anways, I found a big lot of 15 toys for the playroom at about 18% of the actual retail cost of these toys (including shipping), so I couldn't pass that up! I am very pleased that every toy works great and barely looks used at all. Now I'm looking for a Fisher Price Laugh and Learning Home (if you know of anyone selling one, let me know!) They look so cute, but a little pricey to buy new now that I've experienced the art of eBay!
