We got Katelyn's bed yesterday afternoon & set it up in her room along side her crib. She was sooo excited about getting a bed like Mommy & Daddy and immediately put all her blankets, pillows, etc. in. She tried to sleep in it last night, but after about 30 minutes of chilling with her books in bed, she asked to be put back in her crib. Tonight however, she successfully fell asleep in her big girl bed!
I went to a friends wedding shower this evening, so Lex had night duty. I was expected to come home and her to have been in her crib again, but much to my surprise, she did it! Apparently Lex is the bed time whisperer, because she never gives him any problems going to sleep, guess he'll be on bed time duty for a while :) Anyways, this is just the first of many new milestones ahead & makes me a little sad, but excited. Now we can transition the crib on to the babies room.

WOW, WOW, WOW! I just told Nanny yesterday that Katelyn was getting her big-girl bed soon...and here she is, already sleeping in it! IF you can find her in all the blankets and stuffed things! :) We love this sweet girl! Grammy & Pappy
