Fun!

Just some of the fun stuff we've been up to lately....

Katelyn decided she wanted a baby sister :)

My Aunt and Uncle sent Katelyn a new bag that she could decorate herself. She loved it and did a really good job coloring too! 

We had our first drop off playdate with Emery this past week. Katelyn spent some time at her house and then Emmy came to our house the next time. Here they are making and decorating dinosaur cookies.

Levi had his first taste of real spaghetti (and spinach).  He was all business, not even letting one bit drop down into the highchair :)

We hit up a splash park when we were in Dallas last and my Mom sent me these pics. I love the ones of Levi and Lex :) Sorry this one is sideways....

Our Big Boy

We went to Levi's 9 month appt. on Monday - he weighed in at 23 lbs. 10 oz (87%) . Measured at 30.75" (97%) and head circumference 18.5" (88%). Based on most people's questions and comments on how big he is, I am surprised he's not off the charts size wise! No, he's not a year and a half (lady at Wal-Mart), he's 9 months and I love every roll and squishy cheek! 

Grammy&Pappy's Visit

The Poth's came out to visit us the past weekend to celebrate Katelyn and Sandra's birthdays! This was Sandra's 60th Birthday, so they had just come from a birthday trip to Vegas! Woo hoo!

We had a great time visiting and really enjoyed having them there for Katelyn's party.

First things, first - presents! K got a lot of great things, including her own size fishing pole, hopefully we will make it out to their ranch soon so she can try it out!

We had a lot of fun just playing with all the new toys, going to the park and eating out....

We can't wait to see them again! Katelyn keeps asking to go to Texas to see her family! She loves them so much!

Our Little Rae of Sunshine

This past weekend was Katelyn's Birthday party! I've been thinking of ideas for months now and decided on  Our Little "Rae" of Sunshine, since we were having a pool party and we have sung this song to her every night since she was born, practically...very fitting! I did throw in a few Dinosaur Train decorations and favors, which luckily worked out nicely being that Buddy and Mr. Conductor are orange :) Anyways...My sister has an embroidery machine and offered to make Katelyn an outfit for her party and with my Mom's sewing skills, she offered to make the dress. I absolutely LOVE it, they both worked so hard on it and it was a perfect ensemble for this little sweet thing! She even got a matching purse, hat and headband :) Although the party was for Katelyn and she enjoyed every minute of it, I had a blast planning it :) Here are a few pics...

Swim Time! We had to party at our friend, Seri's, neighborhood pool. We are so grateful she allowed us to have it there. They have a big lap pool, kiddie pool and a lazy river! It was great!

Levi had his little playmate, Camden, there too!
