Texas Visit

While I was busy with wedding stuff, the kiddos spent time with Mimi, Pops, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Matt & Drew at Cindy's house in Houston. They had a great time playing with all of Drew's toys and getting some good snuggle time in with Mimi, especially!  I didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are a few for when I was around :) 

Levi loved Molly, he chased her around the living room, pulled her tail/hair, etc...she didn't seem to mind, too much :)

Drew loved Katelyn's dollhouse so much, Mimi ended up getting him a boy version, a farmhouse!

With birthday's around the corner, Cindy had a early birthday party for Katelyn & Mimi (and a little extra early for Pops)!  With a table cloth, cake, balloon, and presents to open Katelyn was soooo excited about her birthday party. She was singing a song to herself all evening...It's my birthday party, it's my birthday party....and dancing around. Man, if I had only known, that's all she needed, I wouldn't have planned a big party for her :) JK...I did probably enjoy planning her party way more than she knows, but it's fun for me too!! Can't wait for it, this upcoming weekend!

After our visit in Houston, we headed up to Dallas. We hadn't been to DFW since April 2011, crazy!!! We've been to Houston a few times, since my sis moved there, so we needed to head up and see some of our family and friends who hadn't met Levi yet! Katelyn remembered Mimi's piano (when she was 20 months old)...she talked about playing it again. It's amazing how good her memory is!

On our last day, we were finally able to see Holly Lake Ranch, where my parents have 2 lake houses/fixer upers. I was so impressed. It was beautiful there....3 swimming pools, putt putt, beautiful lakes, playgrounds, shuffleboard, fishing, paddle boats - we can't wait to go back and take a true vacation there! We did get to hit up the swimming pool though, just enough time to knock both kids out for 2 hours in the car on our start back to SC!

We were also able to meet up with a few friends in DFW - Jennie & Doug, Danny & Toni, and Susan & Grayson! I wish I had taken pics. Although we were gone for 10 days, we could have spent another 10 days visiting more family and friends. We had a great time and miss everyone already!
