Summer Fun

We are finally started to slow down a bit this summer and it's so nice. The first half felt busy with swim team, VBS, sickness, and traveling. We had a blast, but the last week or two we've had fun doing little things close to home. Here's a peek at a few of the more little things we've been up to.

Summer Reading Reward at the Library - they took their pic with props in front of a green screen and emailed me this pic. So cute!

Levi especially loves to help in the kitchen. He's the most adventurous eater as well. Here he's helping me slice cucumber. Below he picked out a recipe to cook and he did most of it himself...Corn Fritters by Levi Poth!!

And I had a little fun with my camera too.

We love Mi Casa Tamales....its an outdoor restaurant with great food, trampolines & playscapes galore for the kids, and we happened upon a good country concert the last time we went. Feels almost like a date night here when the kids are occupied! :)

Of course you can't have summer without a little backyard slip n slide & baby pool (not pictured).

VBS!

And lots of time spent at the pool!

They get so creative over the summer. We love lots of downtime so they can use their little imaginations too. Here Katelyn created a ticket machine like at Chuck E Cheese, but her's dispenses snacks. She hardly has time to play like this during the year!

One of her many stacks of books she's read this summer! She loves to read!

Make yourself at home kids :)

Kyler's first movie at the Theater - Rio 2....we hit up the FREE summer movie one morning and he did great...so tomorrow we are going to see SING for free. Love it!

Snuggling boys watching TV while the girls shop :)

And their favorite tree to climb. It's behind our library!!

More summer fun to come!
