August 5th is a big birthday for our family! Mimi, Jonathan & Katelyn share this special day. This year we miss Jonathan dearly. He would have been 21 and should have been celebrating like all 21 year olds do, but instead Shane, Valarie, Channing & Taylor and her family traveled to Austin to scatter his ashes. He loved Austin and was planning to attend UT this Fall, so to celebrate his birthday they decided to say their last good bye in Austin. And then headed over to Cindy's house and we tried to lighten the mood as best as possible by celebrating the other August birthday's (including Remi & Ezra) with a FIESTA! We are thankful to have been able to spend this day with them celebrating the life of Jonathan and every year we have here on earth with our family. Till we meet again in heaven, we love you!
Cindy gave Katelyn a poop emoji pillow....she has wanted one of these for a year, but I just couldn't let myself buy my daughter poop to sleep with. Aunts are the best!! :)
