The last half of summer was jam packed with lots of playing, friends, errands & family! Here are some pictures to remember it all.
Lex found his micro machines, which were his favorite childhood toy. ALL 3 kids played with these for 3 straight days...until Mommy decided we needed our kitchen table back. Ha!

Kyler had a big fall on our driveway as he drove his dump truck up the drive, his little feet went faster than the truck and he landed face first on the concrete. He still has a red scar under his nose and on his forehead. Hoping they fade eventually!
My favorite way to grocery shop this summer....Curbside Pickup at HEB :) Shopped while they napped!!
Katelyn and Levi went to Kidz Kamp at our church in July as well. they had a "BLAST" (notice the rocket in the picture)!
And Katelyn pulled her 2nd front tooth out herself! Love this toothless grin!

We stayed up extra late one night and drove over the mall parking lot to watch Fiesta Texas' fireworks. It was advertised as their biggest of the season and it was amazing! We were so close!! Kyler's favorite parts were the "chicken feet" (the ones that shoot straight up and then scatter into 4-5 lines) and the "grand franownie" (the grand finale)!!
Our elipse viewing was minimal. We didn't have the special glasses, so we improvised and tried to build our own pin hole box projector (that didn't work) and viewed the crescent shadows under the trees. The rest of our experience was on TV :) We are definitely looking forward to the 2024 Total Eclipse though. Seeing pictures of friends totality experience and on the news, it seems like a really cool experience!

We also went to the Austin Aquarium with Drew & Cindy!! Perfect size for little kiddos, they loved it! And we loved being able to spend the hole day with them after!! Such a treat!

And this weekend we were very lucky to only have gotten rain...fun rain, to play in even! We weren't sure what to expect with Hurricane Harvey hitting Rockport and now covering Houston. We are praying for all of Houston and that the rain will stop for them!
