Christmas Parties

Kindergarten Party....BINGO, sweets & presents! Such a sweet group of kiddos!

2nd Grade Party - sweets and a present swap!

5th grade party (the last party for this girl)...treats and a secret santa swap!

BFF's

They also had "Kallie's Read-In" on Wednesday where the whole elementary spent the morning reading. They had guest readers and lots of time to sit and read on their own too with pillows and blankets from home. Love this tradition! Kyler's class happen to have pictures put on FB, so I don't have pics of the other two kiddos classes.

Swierc Family Christmas

The Swierc Family Christmas was at our house this year and turned out so nice! Although we missed quite a few people this year, we hope to see them soon too!

Piano Recital

Levi & Katelyn started piano lessons again in August and we love their new teacher. She comes to our house and is so talented! Their recital was downtown San Antonio at the Alamo Music Center last Saturday, they both were nervous but did pretty well. Here they are warming up before the recital.

They had quite the fan crowd too! Thank y'all for coming, it meant a lot to them!

Pleasanton Parade and Santa

We went to Pleasanton for their Merry on Main celebration and got to see Santa again! Watched the lighted parade and had dinner with Pappy! Such a fun night!

Oh and at church this past week, they had their annual Jingle Jam party for Jesus! Katelyn's friend, Mercedes was able to go with us too!

Gingerbread, Cookies & Elfie Tada

Getting in all the Christmasy stuff.....Making a little gingerbread village!

Christmas Cookies

Elfie Tada is BACK!

Kyler accidentally touched Elfie Tada, so he wrote a note apologizing, hoping he will get his magic back. The next day Elfie was in bed, sick, but forgave Kyler and was better by the next day.

After we made Christmas cookies, Elfie made some elf size cookies too!

And he always remembers every year to read the Christmas story from the bible too!

Pedernales Falls & Johnson City Lights

The day after Thanksgiving, we had a fun filled family day and went hiking at Pedernales Falls, near Johnson City. It was an 80% chance of rain and cold, but we were hopeful to get a little fun in anyway. Luckily, it only sprinkled on us and warmed up by mid-day. This was the first time we've gone hiking and no one needed to be carried or got hurt! We had a great time and can't wait to explore somewhere else soon.

That night we headed into Johnson City to check out their light display. I've heard about it for years and seen friends pictures, so we were excited to see it in person. We got there early and while we waited for it to get dark, we ate at a cute restaurant on the square, shopped at the craft fair, got hot cocoa and then they lit up the courthouse for the first time this season. They had fireworks as well. It was amazing! The kids even got to sit on Santa's lap!

Then we walked over to the electric companies tree display and took some pictures. So pretty! So glad we didn't get discouraged by the chance of rain, we had a great time!
