Summer's never complete without a trip to the ER....J/K...this was a first! Lex shot a nail through his thumb a few Sunday's ago with his nail gun. He was helping Kyler with another one of his projects and got a tad distracted, I guess. I offered to pull it out for him, LOL, but we ended up trying an urgent care first. They sent him to the ER instead to check for bone or nerve damage. Luckily, he was fine. They deadened it and pulled it right out. I'm so thankful it was just his thumb!
Katelyn had a sleepover with some friends toward the end of July. They had a blast and even slept in the travel trailer, a first for her!
We also hit up Schlitterbahn, COVID style! It really was a great time to go because the lines were fairly short. We got there when it opened and stayed till it closed! Plus, we were able to ride our favorite rides 3-4 times each. We all had a blast!
We also did a little day trip to the river one day and stumbled upon a place in Kerrville, that had paddle boards and kayaks for rents. We love a good day in the water exploring!
I did cut my leg on a rock after kayaking, so I stayed on shore for the last hour or so, no biggie, I enjoyed watching the kiddos have fun too!
I'd say they had a good day.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
