Mother's Day

My kiddos spoiled me on Mother's Day - breakfast in bed (although I had to get back in bed because I woke up before them, LOL), lots of homemade cards (the best!!) and thoughtful gifts - Levi spent his own money to get me a Starbucks gift card, Katelyn made me an emergency kit of essential items to keep in a cute bag for my purse/car! Love these sweet kiddos and thankful God gave them to me, they make this world so much more meaningful and fun!

We were also able to meet up with Mimi, Pops, Cindy & Drew at our normal park in Buda that afternoon after church. We love Mimi and hope she felt loved! We couldn't have asked for a better Mother/Grandmother for this set of kiddos. She gives her all to them and we are so thankful!

Extended Family Time

Recently we attended the Campbell Family reunion, which is Alfreda's Carnes family. People travelled from Florida and even Ireland to come, over 100 people came. It was so great to meet so many cousins from all over the world. The Irish clan even brought their accordions and danced the Irish jig for us, which I loved!

These are all the 1st cousins, Fred & Patricia's generation, that were able to make it.

Here are the 2nd generation (children of the first cousins) that were able to make it.

And here is the family tree that Denise had printed, so cool!

We were also invited to Emory's first birthday, Keith & CJ's sweet baby girl. We love that we are getting to know our Poth cousins more now that we live in Poth too! Katelyn was loving all the other babies that were there too :)

Happy Easter!

He is Risen! What a Happy Easter it was, so thankful for a risen Savior and a family to celebrate it with! We went to church in the morning, then headed to Austin to meet up with my family for lunch and an egg hunt! It was a beautiful day!

On our way to Austin we finally found a patch of bluebonnets for our annual pic!

And look the Easter Bunny came!

We were also able to celebrate with Pappy & Lindsay....Pappy even stuffed  his own set of eggs for the kids, filled with money! They were pumped!

And of course, we dyed some easter eggs earlier in the week and read through the Easter story with our resurrection eggs. Two of our favorite traditions. And this year we finally tried resurrection rolls - which were really cool and tasted great!
