Birthday's & Kyler lately

Kyler is always up to something. He's not in a sport right now, but he is doing Kingdom Knights at Grace with Lex and taking piano lessons, so he keeps busy too! Along with all that fun, he's always up to something fun...

Like finding cute turtles at the park and bringing them home as a pet (don't worry we released it a few days later).

Learning a lot at school with his friend Conner Moczygemba.

And getting excited about all the little things, including a giant vine of grapes!

And tiny homegrown tomatoes....

And the cutest homegrown first watermelon ever!!

We celebrated Lex's Birthday with homemade lasagna and keto chocolate coconut cookies!!

And of course, lots of thoughtful presents too! I love that the kiddos insist on buying presents with their own money!! Levi picked out Black Rifle coffee for Lex.

Kyler picked out 5 different hot sauces (seed oil free, of course)

And Katelyn got him his favorite salsa & some marinated mushrooms.

I'm seeing a theme here....food! Happy Birthday to the one who makes our lives so much better in every way possible! Thank you for being you and staying true to who God wants you to be! We love you!!

PTO Fall Court Fundraisers have begun and one of them is "Planking" your neighbors! Well, we got planked yesterday, so fun! What a great fundraiser!!

We were able to celebrate Pop's Birthday while they were here to see the first football game at the Alamodome. Sorry it was a quick, eat/open presents/run out the door kind of celebration :) But I know he knows we love him and are so thankful for him!! We love that he comes to cheer on our kiddos in all they do and think the world of all he does for our families!! We love you Pops!! Happy 76th!

And just a quick documentation of a few cool mornings we had early in September....what a nice way start "Fall". Too bad it's already "summer" again around here. But at least we can still swim! :)

7th Grade & Football begins...

Levi has such a fun group of friends...here they are playing in their first washer tournament at the Back to School picnic!

Trying on his gear with his practice jersey...looking like a stud!

He loves working for money!! He'll mow your lawn too, if you live close enough!

Love their relationship!

#40

Got his official game jersey!

And got his signs made to run for Student Council. Today's the vote! Praying he gets it, he really wants it!!

Thursday September 12th was JH's first game! He was so excited, I was so excited! The moms got together that morning and made them snack bags even! Plus, we all went and picked up an early dinner for them (Subway was his choice)!

This is how it started.....

And two plays in....he broke his wrist in two places.

We have a replay of the instance from the YouTube video at the stadium. He was running straight ahead and a kid from the other team came running at an angle, not even trying to tackle him, just obliviously ran into Levi and knocked him down. He landed on his right hand and it hyper extended it, breaking it in two places. He knew it hurt, but he played another play (where Poth scored!!) When he came out, he showed the trainer and the rest was history. Off to the urgent care we went and he watched the game on YouTube when we got home. Along with losing two teeth the same nigh, his bones were just not happy with him that day, apparently!

We went and got his cast put on yesterday, he has 2 weeks in this cast and then possibly a brace. But if he wants to play football and the coaches are okay with it, he can get another cast and wrap it during football and keep playing?!? We'll see about that.

Cheer in Action

Our first football game was in the Alamodome this year! What a fun and special way to start the season!! We loved watching our girl cheer on the sidelines in such a big venue!

More fun cheer photos from other games and pep rallies......

Youth night....those sweet girls love their big cheerleaders!!

Including this sweet cousin, Ella! She was down there cheering right along with them. I have no doubt she's going to be a Pirate Cheerleader in a few years too!
