Here we go again!! They were all pretty excited to get back to school, see their friends, and do all the fun extra curriculars that come with school! 

Last Meet the Teacher for Elementary School for this one....

He was so excited after Meet the Teacher. He couldn't wait to get back to his new classroom and get to sit at the brand new tables and chairs (with cushions) that Mrs. Hosek got this year. He is also the first class to spend an entire school year in the new 5th grade building. It's so nice! 

This year the school did a tailgate in bus alley to get everyone pumped up for the new year. Katelyn cheered, the band played, & PTO had a booth promoting our memberships. At the same time, Levi went around and made sure he knew where his locker & classrooms were, along with picking up his football gear! 

The night before school started, we had our traditional ice cream & photo sessions!!

And I had to document this...This was my view at 5 am the first day of school. Katelyn wanted to make sure to get her run in, but she also wanted time to shower and get dressed for the first day of school, so we got up  extra early and I hung out in the car watching her (the little green light) run at the track before the rest of cross county practiced. She's one dedicated girl :)

Also for the memories, I helped host my last Back to School teacher luncheon with PTO. I love this group of ladies and we had a blast spoiling all the teachers and staff this year! Kyler loves helping too, especially when he gets "VIP access" to the school (i.e. gets to run around the school without having to following the teachers rules, after hours).
