Family Time
We spent one day in New Braunfels during winter break and had a great time. We popped in several cute shops downtown, ate at Krause's German Restaurant, & hung out by the river enjoying the sunshine. It was a great relaxing day!
Apparently we wore the kids out, they are zonked out on the way home :)
Cookie Photoshoot....after a haircut and before my flowers froze for the winter!! Plus, all her funny sleeping positions, such a sweet pup!
Kyler lost a tooth!! It feels like forever since anyone has lost a tooth around here! This is an odd one to me though, because the tooth in front of it is still a baby tooth! I hope it falls out on it's own soon!
And this is just a reminder for my Mommin' Days....up early every day making lunches and filling water bottles before school! I am thankful I can do this for them!
This year, I am going to read at least one book a month. I already picked them out, they are a variety of Christian, financial literacy, habit forming, wellness, etc. type books. I am also challenging the kids to read these books as well (with a little money incentive), before they graduate High School. I saw the idea online and decided it sounded like a great idea. So far Katelyn started reading Atomic Habits, but she hasn't quite formed the habit of reading it consistently...guess this would be a great book for her to finish :) Anyways, this is the first book I read for January! Highly recommend it. There is also a movie to go along with it.
