Kyler won 1st place overall Junior Photography this year at the WCJLS. They break it into categories so he won 1st for the "Land" category and then 1st overall, which included still life, animals, & land photos. He took this photo in Hawaii last summer and entered it into the Land category, which includes crops. We were a little worried it would get disqualified since it's not a Texas crop, but they loved it and we do too! He was so excited to get another trophy (acrylic) to add to his shelf!
He also did a drawing of a deer eating out of a feeder at the ranch, he didn't win for that, but he enjoys drawing a lot too!
