On Good Friday, it happened to be my turn to plan our weekly playdate, so we decided to do an Easter Egg Hunt and lunch at our house. We had a great time! Unfortunately the weather was a little gloomy, but we bundled up and headed out to hunt some eggs!
Katelyn really enjoyed the whole process, but she was too excited to get to the candy inside the egg, so she would pick up and egg open it immediately instead of trying to go for more. We'll have to work on that process next year :)
The whole crew, Lex even came home from lunch that day so he could participate!

What a fun playgroup! I hope to find one as fun here. You and mom did a great job on the Easter basket!
Did KK actually pick up only pink eggs in the backyard hunt? She is dressed in pink, has a lovely pink basket and looks like she picks only pink---how cute is that?
