Mr. & Mrs. Wood

Two weeks ago we headed to Texas for my niece's wedding! I can't believe she is married now and Taylor Wood :) We are very happy for her and Stephen and wish them the best! We had a good time visiting with family and definitely glad we were able to make it.

Katelyn & Drew were the flower girl and ring bearer and the plan was for them to ride down the aisle in this beautifully decorated wagon! Valarie spent a lot of time making this wagon just perfect and Katelyn really didn't want anything to do with it. She typically loves riding in wagon's, but I think sitting in it with Drew she just wasn't feeling. We came a little early on the wedding day to get some practice in and everything was going well...until of course it was time to do it for real. (backing up a little....apparently Katelyn was sacred (?) of Drew when he cried...so everytime he even whimpered for 1/2 a second, she would bust out in a full-out tears rolling cry.) Well, Drew decided that he really wanted to take a Monster truck down the aisle and when he wasn't able too, he started protesting a little...well that triggered Katelyn and so they were pulled down the aisle crying the whole way. It was a disaster!! I feel so bad, but at least it's something (I hope) they can laught about one day :)

All was better once the reception started! Katelyn and Drew both were busting a move! Katelyn especially loved the attention from the bride!
