3rd Place Winner!

Levi (and I) worked hard for many hours memorizing 200 higher level spelling words from October-February. He didn't always want to practice, but once he got going, he was great at it! At the final competition in February, his team won FIRST place! All three top spots were taken up by Poth kids, with Levi being tied for 3rd! I am so proud because there were many days it seemed too hard and we were both ready to throw in the towel, but he stuck with it and proved that hard work pays off! Now, somehow if he can remember this lesson so he doesn't complain so much next time he has to work hard at a goal :)

2nd grade in Mrs. Cabrera's class doing their poem recitals! Levi is blending in with the light, but he's there, our super tall sweet boy!
