Well, we are stuck at home right now due to "social distancing" during the spread of the corona virus, so I thought I'd take the time to post some pictures of some fun we had over the past month!
Kyler's class had Cowboy Day at school, aren't they all so cute!
Lex whipped together a firepit for the backyard one night, out of the limestone that was originally part of our house. Why didn't we do this sooner? So fun!
Making dinner....his favorite, bean tacos/quesadillas!
The boys also got the flu in February, first Levi then Kyler. Fever lasted only 24 hours for Levi, but a few days for Kyler. I enjoyed the extra time with them at home, even though they weren't feeling well. Levi gets night terrors when he has a fever too, so it was pretty scary the night he had a high fever, he doesn't really remember it the next day either, but does remember that he was scared. We were glad it only lasted one night.
It's hard to tell in this picture, but Kyler's eyes were so red from the virus, it was so sad. He ended up getting an ear infection too.
Both boys started baseball practices. Kyler is doing T-Ball and Levi is in the Pee-Wee league for Little League. Unfortunately, they've each only had a couple of practices due to spring break and now the coronavirus outbreak has cancelled all activities. But Kyler sure looks cute and ready for his first practice with one of his coaches....Daddy!
Climbing Trees
And one night they voluntarily did the dishes for me after dinner. I didn't even ask them too. (They are getting better at helping with chores now that school is cancelled too, but this is definitely not the norm, so I had to document!)
Katelyn caught a fish the other day at Dean's tank!
She also started on a club volleyball team with Poth's 5th graders. They had their first tournament at the end of February, after only a hand full of practices. They didn't win much, but they did fairly well for first time playing together. They definitely looked better than I did in 5th grade, oh that's right we didn't play volleyball till 7th! LOL, they start everything so much earlier these days!
