Snowpocalypse

The day after Valentine's Day we got the biggest snow we've ever seen in this neck of the woods! And it lasted for dayzzzz! It was such a beautiful sight! Although it brought some hardships throughout Texas (power outages, water outages, school out, traffic accidents). We lucked out and kept all our power & water all week. School was cancelled for the entire week due to the power outages and water shortage, so we tried to enjoy it was much as possible.

A drone view of Poth City Park.

Look at all those footprints...haha!

Snow definitely calls for hot cocoa!

I even busted out my good camera....love these smiles!

Exhausted after a late night sleepover with Harper and then playing in the snow all morning! Sweet girl!

Mid-week art after playing in the snow got old!

And homemade pizza making!

We heard through the grapevine, Poth might lose water next. So we filled bathtubs and ice chests and water bottles with drinking water....Kyler decided he'd fill EVERY water bottle we own. He did not want to run out of drinking water, apparently! It took us all week to drink this! And luckily we never lost water!

Levi wanted one last try at a snow angel before it all melted.....and Rose just wanted to tackle Levi....haha!

It's almost gone, but it was still FREEZING!

We dripped the faucets so they wouldn't freeze outside and this is the icicle we got from one of the outside faucets....wow!

We're number ONE!

What fun memories we made! We loved it, but I am so thankful spring is around the corner! Luckily we only lost a few plants in the freeze. Most of them are starting to sprout back up, to our surprise!
