Valentine's Day 2021

Valentine's Day was spread out all weekend for us this year! The kids celebrate on the Friday before at school with lots of sweets and cards to and from their friends! Levi sent lego themed cards and candy this year. Kyler sent lego bookmarks that he laminated himself with a chocolate heart. And Katelyn passed out donuts with cute cards to all her girl friends. They LOVE this LOVE holiday! Mostly for the sugar :)

Valentine's was on a Sunday this year, so they woke up to treats and donuts before we headed to church.

Every year, I tape hearts to their doors the 14 days leading up to Valentine's with 14 things I love about them! (Some years I'm better about this than others.....I need to get pictures of the boys hearts too, but here are some of Katelyn's for this year)

I got Lex these "healthy" donuts for V-Day. He loved them! They are super low sugar, low carb, and high protein!

The night before V-Day we had a date night at home. Katelyn "baby-sat" by making sure everyone got to bed on time and she read everyone a story too! Let's just say, we had to hang up at sheet to keep them out of the kitchen and it wasn't all quiet and peaceful like we were imagining :) ....notice the sheet down the hallway :)

Checking out their treats from friends after school on Friday....

Lex sent me flowers....they came to the door in a box with a card signed.... "N"
Good things he's my one and only :)

Mrs. James 1st grade class showing off their Valentine's! Kyler's in red on a yellow stool!

And to end the weekend of sugar off with a bang.....we made chocolate fondue! We did this last year and they loved it so much we decided we'd make it our Valentine tradition! Harper spent the night with us this night, so she got to join in!

Love my Valentine's so much!
