Christmas Eve we got Katelyn back from Lindsay, let Kyler rest (from his ruptured ear drum), then headed to the 4 pm Christmas Eve service at church, and then had our traditional "Journey to the Manger" dinner with our little family. We love this night. It's the night we look forward to the most, each year!
We also set out cookies & milk for Santa. Plus, reindeer food in the yard and carrots for Santa to give them as well.
Visions of sugarplums danced in their heads. And to all a good night!
This year, rather than building a pillow wall in the hallway, we wrapped it with Christmas wrapping paper. Now the kiddos can't see down into the living room and spoil any surprises Santa may have left for them. Plus, they were able to bust through it together Christmas morning! This may be a new tradition!
