No explanation for some of these photos, LOL...
Katelyn spent a weekend with Lindsay in Austin, she loves this time!
We went to a wedding in early December, we didn't know too many people, but we sure had fun with each other! My main goal was to get Levi & Kyler out on the dance floor....
Success....
Happy Birthday Harper & Ella!
Christmas time at Sea World!! We had season passes this year, so we had to make sure to get one last trip in before the end of the year. They do such a great job with their lights and I was pleasantly surprised by their nativity play as well!
Kyler talked Lex into trying the basketball game. They were convinced they could win....LOL, they did not.
Real life camels!!
Levi's band concert.
He is loving the trombone and doing so well at it! I took videos, but this is the only picture I took. The 6th graders played 2 Christmas songs and then the parents were called up to take over their spots for our performance. They were expected to teach their parents how to play Hot Cross Buns, so we performed as well. It was such a fun experience and Levi was a great teacher!!
Kyler is a lover of all things antique. He shined up this silver pitcher and made hot cocoa to pour from it. I love how he is so passionate about the little things in life!
And in big news....I bought myself a pair of readers!! I didn't realize how much they would help, but I guess I am officially at the age where they are becoming necessary. I've actually always wanted to wear glasses, now it's my turn! And I ended up getting Lex a pair for Christmas too :)
Shorts, Swimming Pool, Nintendo Switch, Izzy & Story Writing = Kyler
The boys helped me prep for our cookie party. They love being in the kitchen with me!
Love this one....
We finished decorating all the cookies after the party was over too!
A little chemistry set experimentation...
And I ended up getting us a new tree this year. Our main tree is 19 years old and has been loosing needles by the 100's every year. This tree was 1/2 off the week before Christmas, so we went for it. We will miss placing each limb and fluffing each branch.....oh wait....only Kyler will miss that part, but that tree did have lots of great memories. Our engagement, South Carolina, San Antonio & Poth - all the kids first Christmas', etc. But it was time to retire it and I am excited about having two pre-lit trees now!!
Sweet :)
We took the boys to College Station to watch the Aggies play while Katelyn was hanging with Lindsay in Austin. It was fan appreciation night, so we entered for free and got to pick our seats as well. We'll definitely be back for future fan appreciate nights! We also took them to Wings & More for the first time. So worth the drive!
Kyler started a fever this night though and the next day I took him in to find out he had a ruptured ear drum! He never complained, he just said his ear hurt a little bit. Sweet sick kiddo.
Speak Out, the game, is pretty hilarious and difficult :)
Hobson Christmas Lights
The Wilson County News did an article on this family and their Christmas light display, so we had to go check it out. It was fantastic! They really go above and beyond!
