Christmas Prep!!

These kiddos love decorating for Christmas!! They could not wait until after Thanksgiving, even though we were hosting, so we decorated the weekend before but kept the kitchen and dining room looking like Fall. 

 

This kiddos each went above and beyond decorated their rooms this year too, even the boys bathroom got festive!! Christmas is so much more joyful with the kids excitement!! I hope they always love it as much as they love it now!

After all our hard work decorating, Kyler set up this Roof Top Cafe for us to enjoy. This is probably their very favorite part of decorating, eating dinner on the roof!! He went all out this year with candles, a lantern, music, and his tux coat as our server!! Love this enthusiasm this kids brings to everything he does!

Thanksgiving

This year we hosted Thanksgiving since Lindsay moved to San Antonio!! Which we are thrilled over! 

We had a feast and then relaxed. We have so much to be thankful for!!

The kids love this tradition. We write all the things we are thankful for around a pumpkin and use it as a centerpiece at the table!

Levi made our place cards this year! He went all out and they turned out so cute!!

Levi & Kyler Lately

Levi started 7th Grade Basketball in November and is loving it!! He made B team because he was still recovering from his broken wrist (that's what the coaches told him) but he's been working hard to make up for it and is outside shooting and dribbling on a daily basis!

Kyler also ran for Student Council and even had to do a speech in front of his class. Only one kid from each class won, so unfortunately this wasn't his year to win, but I am so proud of his desire to try!

Kyler's last year participating in the elementary fun run! They raised money to put a new playground in at the elementary! Currently it is under construction and he is super pumped it will be ready before he graduates and moves on to the Junior High!

Poth Ranch Reunion

We had a little mini Poth Family Reunion "watching" the Aggie game at the ranch together. Well, actually the game was set to play later in the day so we all wore our aggie gear, ate a great lunch, visited, and then went home to watch the game later that evening. Haha! 

We loved catching up with our Poth cousins too! Including the newest addition, Ellie, Matthew & Katherine's newest baby girl!

DFW Quick Visit

Mid November, we took a quick trip up to DFW and got to squeeze in quite a bit during a short period of time.

We celebrated Levi's birthday with Mimi & Pops!

The kids spent the night at Mimi & Pops' house and Lex and I enjoyed a night at the Thompson Hotel in downtown Dallas. Lex won an auction through his work that included a weekend stay at this hotel, plus dinner at The Little Daisy restaurant inside the hotel. It was super fancy!! We had a great time, despite Lex having some pretty severe respiratory infection symptoms. He stayed sick for a few weeks, it's been along time since he's been sick like that. We made the best of it and enjoyed sleeping in a bit, for sure!

The next day we went to a Kilgore/Poindexter Family reunion in Weatherford. We loved catching up with some of our family, we haven't seen in years. 

Before the reunion, we met up with Shane, Valarie, Channing, Patrick, Palmer and got to meet new little baby Benson! Love getting to catch up with them too!

The game room at the apartment complex was pretty impressive!!
