Here are some random but worthy of noting memories:
See you at the Pole
Peek-a-boo Garden Gnome
Mrs. Monroe's 5th Grade Top Readers
My bday flowers from Trader Joe's lasted so long!!
We got planked....again!
Kyler and I went to a Josiah Queen concert in New Braunfels. It was the best time!!
We had VIP tickets because it was standing room only and I didn't want to get caught in the back with a 10 year old that couldn't see a thing. With the VIP tickets, we got in an hour and a half early and got to participate in a Q&A with Josiah himself. Kyler asked the question, "Will you be making any vinyl records?" And to our surprise, he had some at the Merch Booth, so they "hooked him up" with a free vinyl record!! He was stoked! This guy is so good, I bet he is going to go big time one day and if he does, Kyler will get to say he's talked to him!! So cool!
Father/Daughter sweetness
Peanut Festival Parade (Katelyn had the stomach bug so she wasn't able to ride the cheer float this year, but we went to watch anyway)
Chicken and Waffles by Levi
NEHS visited Pirate Academy to help the little ones play games on Halloween!
Teach Me Project: The History of Books
In 5th Grade, they were given the chance to teach the class on anything they wanted to for 30 min. Kyler chose, the History of Books and brought his Quill, typewriter and a Kindle in for show and tell. He loved every bit of this!
Levi's Alamo Diorama
100% completed on his own and one of the only kids in his class to get a 100!
NEHS Officers (Kyler is Vice President) spoke at the Veteran's Day ceremony in front of the whole district this past Monday. He did such a great job!! He said he was super nervous, but you couldn't tell at all, I'm so proud!
Saturday night, Lex and I went to the annual PEF Gala and had a great time! It's fun to get dressed up and have some adult only time every now and then.
