Casey & Wendy got married the first weekend in October but it was an adult only wedding, so Lindsay offered to watch the kiddos so Lex and I could go to the wedding. We decided to make it a 40th Birthday/15th Wedding Anniversary weekend too and splurged for a few nights at the Gaylord in Grapevine. We had the best time eating out, shopping, and attending Casey's wedding. Taylor and Jason hooked us up with the "friends and family" discount and upgrade at the Gaylord, we had the best room in the whole place! It was beautiful!
And the wedding was beautiful too! They had it at the Fort Worth Zoo, it was outdoors so we were able to go sans-masks, which was a nice change. And to my knowledge no one got sick with COVID! It was so nice to see some of my family, although we missed everyone that couldn't be there.
