Valentine's Day fondue and fancy breakfast for my loves!
Part of healing Kyler's gut (and all of ours, really) We've started making more things from scratch, like bagels, granola, ranch, & larabars. I don't make them all from scratch, but it's fun to when I have time. It's actually been a lot of fun to learn how to still eat a lot of the same foods we love, but in a much healthier way.
We enjoyed the Super Bowl this year at the Tackitt's with friends! So fun!
And Kyler brought us home 2 new baby chicks from the 4th grade hatching project, we are all loving watchin them grow. They've gotten so big already and are about to get released into the chicken coop with the hens.
Here they are at about 3 weeks, they have doubled in size since then and are now about 6 weeks old.
The boys and I went down to Kennedy over spring break to ride bikes and were pleasantly surprised when we found some really big patches of bluebonnets and wild flowers!! It was way better in person!
This patch was on the sand volleyball court, bluebonnets had taken over!!
We also had to hit up a trampoline park one day during spring break, this is always one of their top choices when going to do something fun!
I was so proud of all of them for overcoming some fears while tackling new obstacles, but I am especially proud of this one here. He has never enjoyed anything off the ground, but he did this entire ropes course all by himself. There were times when he wanted to turnback, but the way it was designed, he couldn't go back, he had to move forward. He was so scared, but tackled his fear and had fun in the end!
We are loving our backyard this time of year!! This sunrise was breathtaking!
Game night, playing Beat That. It got pretty competitive!!
Family time is the best time!!
